The Black Owned Sellers Spotlight (BOSS) program elevates and encourages minorities to start and sustain their own businesses, helping to break a cycle of inequity and boost the local economy. BOSS executes programs to aid, assist, and protect the interests of Black-owned businesses serving Williamson County, Texas.
Businesses may apply for BOSS grants in the amount of up to $500 per grant. The grant will reimburse recipients the vendor fee to have booths at public events held in Williamson County.
Requirements
- A Black owned small business serving Williamson County.
- Meet vendor requirements for the specific Williamson County event for which the grant is requested.
- Submit the completed BOSS application no later than one (1) month prior to the event.
- Complete the BOSS post-event survey describing the impact of the grant within one (1) month after the event.
